The meeting of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) is considered as the most prestigious event in the field of hematology both at the level of basic science and that of the clinical translation and research. Numerous scientific workshops, oral presentations, thousands of posters and a plethora of new products form big and small pharmaceutical companies, have converted this meeting into a fascinating and extremely busy event that is usually exhaustive and eventually frustrating to follow in its entirety.<\/p>\n

To this end, I decided a few years ago to organize a post ASH meeting where colleagues who are experts in their field, would present what they considered as the most important and novel findings from the meeting. More recently, the idea of publishing these presentations on paper was set forward and has been materialized in this issue of HAEMA. The first such attempt with the news from the 2022 meeting is currently in your hands.<\/p>\n

We sincerely hope that this will be useful for the young trainees and for the more senior colleagues who can have the opportunity to benefit from these filtered reports that cover our mostly favored field in medicine, hematology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
